This targeted urine panel evaluates urinary tract health, kidney function, and early indicators of kidney stress. It combines a complete urinalysis with microscopic examination to assess urine composition, hydration status, and the presence of blood, protein, glucose, or other abnormalities. The urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio provides additional insight into kidney filtration by measuring small amounts of albumin relative to creatinine, which can help identify early changes in kidney health.

Includes:

• Urinalysis, Complete with Microscopic Examination – Evaluates urine appearance, concentration, pH, glucose, protein, blood, and other chemical and microscopic markers associated with urinary and kidney health.
• Albumin/Creatinine Ratio, Random Urine – Measures urine albumin and creatinine to assess potential protein leakage and kidney filtration health.

Preparation and Hydration:

Fasting is not required for this panel. Maintain your normal hydration levels before testing and drink water as you typically would throughout the day. Avoid excessive water intake or intentional dehydration, as unusually diluted or concentrated urine may affect results.

A provider will approve your labs, and your Lab Requisition Form will be emailed to you within 24 business hours. Labcorp will also have this on file. Please bring a valid photo ID to your nearest Labcorp location. Results will be securely emailed as soon as they are available.
