This panel analyzes your hepatic function via a Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential, Alanine aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT); albumin, alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase (AST/SGOT); bilirubin, direct; bilirubin, total; protein, total, C-Reactive Protein, TIBC, Ferritin, full Lipids, GGT, and Prothrombin Time.

This test includes FIB-4 and APRI calculations. The FIB-4 score estimates the amount of liver fibrosis in individuals, particularly those with hepatitis C or fatty liver disease. The APRI (AST to Platelet Ratio Index) assesses the extent of liver fibrosis, particularly in patients with hepatitis C.

8-12 hour calorie fasting prior to this lab is recommended (still hydrate with water) to use for diagnostic purposes.

A provider will approve your labs, and your Lab Requisition Form will be emailed to you within 24 business hours. Labcorp will also have this on file. Please bring a valid photo ID to your nearest Labcorp location. Results will be securely emailed as soon as they are available.
