Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) by Multiplex Immunoassay with Reflex to 5-Biomarker Profile
This test screens for antinuclear antibodies (ANA), which are produced when the immune system mistakenly targets the body’s own cells. A positive ANA result may reflex to additional testing for specific antibodies that provide more detailed information about immune activity. These include:

• dsDNA – Double-stranded DNA antibody

• RNP – Ribonucleoprotein antibody

• Sm – Smith antibody

• SS-A (Ro) – Sjögren’s-Syndrome–related antigen A antibody

• SS-B (La) – Sjögren’s-Syndrome–related antigen B antibody

This test provides insight into autoimmune activity and helps evaluate potential immune system imbalances.

Fasting is not required for this test.

A provider will approve your labs, and your Lab Requisition Form will be emailed to you within 24 business hours. Labcorp will also have this on file. Please bring a valid photo ID to your nearest Labcorp location. Results will be securely emailed as soon as they are available.
