This isolation hs-CRP (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein) blood test measures low levels of CRP, a protein produced by the liver in response to inflammation. It is primarily used to assess chronic, low-grade inflammation and help evaluate the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and stroke. It is particularly valuable for identifying subtle inflammation that may not be evident through standard CRP tests.
