This isolation GlycoMark test measures 1,5-anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG), a biomarker that reflects short-term (1-2 week) blood sugar variability and post-meal glucose spikes. It is primarily used to monitor glycemic control in people with diabetes, particularly for identifying high glucose levels after meals that may not be captured by HbA1C alone.

Calorie-fasting is not required for the GlycoMark test, as it is designed to reflect glucose levels under normal conditions. However, it may be recommended based on other tests you are performing.

After order completion, a provider will submit your Lab Requisition Form to Labcorp, within 24 (business) hours. You will also be emailed a copy of your LRF to take to your nearest Labcorp with valid photo ID. Your results will be available in your Labcorp Patient Portal as soon as they become available, and we will securely email you a PDF copy.
